Mobile Phone Offences

As of 27 February 07, drivers who are caught using hand-held mobile phones are now facing a £60 fixed penalty fine and three points.  Drivers may also be prosecuted even if they are using a hands-free kit but not in control of their vehicle. See BBC News - 27/02/07
