Drink-Drive Limit Could Be Lowered

A proposal to bring Britain's drink-drive law into line with the rest of Europe could mean that the alcohol limit may be lowered to 50mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. This will mean that drivers could be over the limit after just one drink. See BBC News - 15/06/07

Random Breath Tests

In an attempt by the government to reduce drink-driving, drivers may face random breath tests.  A Department for Transport road safety review said tougher enforcement is the best way of tackling the problem. See BBC News - 27/02/07
